Downloading PDF Files

The process of downloading a file is really quite simple. You are simply transferring the file from a remote server to your computer. Once downloaded you can open the file, view it and print it if you choose to.

PDF files are "Portable Document Files". They are designed to be very small file sizes for the amount of information they can hold. Additionally, they hold pictures and all text formatting without losing any formatting such as paragraphs, bolds, colors, etc.

PDF files are also compatable with just about every computer made. Most modern computers have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. This is the program which opens and read a PDF file. For some reason if your system does not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is a free download at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

The Process
Before we explain this simple process please bookmark or save this page to your "Favorites". This way, if for some reason you have a problem or question later, you can get back here for help.

Open in place or download?

You can choose to open the file in place (on the server) or download it to a chosen place on your computer. It is better to download the file to your computer, however we will give you instructions for both procedures.

To Open in Place: Just click on the download button on our main product page. The file will open up and then you can print it.

To Download the File: PC users can just right click the download button. This will open a small box with several choices. Choose "Save Target As". Left click on it.

A new dialog box will open. It is giving you a choice as to where to save the file on your hardrive.It is not important where you save the file as much as you rember where you saved it. Otherwise you will have to search for the file later. So choose a folder and jot it down if need be. You will need to find the folder in few minutes when the download is finished. The name of the file you will be downloading is:

Knowing the file name and where it's located on your computer is really all you need to know. Once you find the file, double click on it and it will open for you to view and print.
